Product Description 5X Tri-fold Mirror
Amazon.com High magnification, versatile illumination, and multi-angle viewing make this tri-fold mirror from Jerdon a virtual cockpit of makeup application. Structured for panoramic viewing, the mirror features two adjustable side panels, plus a center section with regular reflection on one side and 5X magnification on the other. Two bars of fluorescent lighting offer cool, glare-free illumination, and the color-correct light menu lights your face for day or evening, the office or home. A built-in outlet accommodates curling irons and roller sets, while an adjustable backstand offers 11 angles to work from. The entire unit folds up flat for storage. Though the mirror does not feel as substantial as the company's all-metal models, it does roll several features into one compact model. In addition, the reflection is consistently clear, and the side panels stay put where you place them. Fully extended, the mirror measures 19 by 12 inches. Jerdon includes a one-year warranty. --Emily Bedard

Good product September 8, 2010 Donna J. Wolf Tizzano (Mentor, Ohio) I too, read the reviews and almost didn't purchase this, I bought the Conair Illunimation and HATED the Conair, returned it and got this Jerdon. The light is bright, not 4 skimpy bulbs like the conair, I like the on-off switch and the plug is an added plus. Trust me, I have had a make-up mirror for 40 years and this is is a good buy. Got the product within a couple of days from Amazon, packed well. I am totally satisfied.
3-way make-up mirror August 31, 2010 Star P. Weed (Savannah) It works great with one magnifying mirror and two natural ones. I'm able to put on make-up with the center magnifying mirror and then see what it looks like in the natural ones. It really works well. Star
Jerdon JGL9W 5X Magnification Tri-fold Lighted Mirror August 25, 2010 me I have only had this product for one month, but read reviews that were negative and positive. I have had a very positive experience with this mirror so far. The light works perfect. It comes on immediately after pressing the on button. The magnified mirror is perfect. As with all magnification mirrors, you do have to get somewhat close, but not too close. It all depends on your eyes. For the money, the mirror has alot to offer. It has many different angles and the side mirrors are a plus for making sure my foundation completely covers the side of my face and that my eyeshadow is not too far over my eyelids (out past the corners).
Lights dead after only 2 months August 25, 2010 jinny yu Everything worked great for about 2 months and then the lights just burned out. I hold down the on switch for about 10 sec but no luck. i just found customer contact number from jerdon's website which is 1-866-759-4650. i'm going to call tomorrow and ask about 1 yr warranty. hope they replace/repair!
Great Product for the Price August 23, 2010 Retail Slave (Los Angeles, CA USA) I have had this mirror for about 2 months now and have had no problems with the lighting yet. It works as it should, although I find that I only use the light settings for day and night. The magnified side of the mirror does look a little warped from far, but if you're doing detail work you would probably be up closer to the mirror anyhow, so it isn't a problem for me. I do notice the plastic housing seems to get a little hot if I have the lights on for about an hour. Aesthetically, it isn't pleasing to the eye since it is just white and boxy, but functionally it's great.
