It may seem strange to need heaters for an office in Miami, FL - but we can't control the thermostat in our suite, and by the end of the day, it can be in the 60's. For safety reasons, we can't use the typical space heater with exposed coils. This is perfect. It's small (some people put it by their feet, others on their desk), it's quiet, there are enough settings to get the temperature you want, and the price is very right. Every time we add a staff member, we buy another one. Highly recommend.

This is a piece of crap machine. When you plug it in it heats up for about a minute, then stops working. I absolutely do not recommend that anyone purchase this product.

I work in a freezing office so I had to get a space heater for under my desk. It does make noise, but it is bearable - you can't hear it over the phone or anything. It is not bad for the price and it keeps me warm. I usually keep it on a low fan setting at the highest temperature for the whole day.
Stopped working in less than 10 minutes July 12, 2010

I was quite happy to receive this small heater, but it worked only for a few minutes until the motor started to make a strange sound (sounded as if it was "coughing"). I turned the heater off and when I turned it on the motor no longer worked and the heater was making a loud screaming sound. I am returning it and will look for another brand.

Good heater! Its great for small to medium rooms, and will save you money. Only downside is that it does not come with a timer.
