I can honestly say that these bags help extend the life of my produce. I definitely notice a difference in how well things keep over time. I'm not sure what people's expectations are of these bags, but there's nothing that will keep produce forever. So I am happy if the quality of the food is extended longer than it normally would be. I think these bags may work better with some things over others. They definitely help my vegetables and some fruits. For instance, my Romaine is fresh and crisp after 3 weeks of being in my crisper in the bag:) Normally it would wilt at that time without the bag. It also keeps my apples, lemons, and limes for longer than usual.
I like the bags and they seem to work for me. But I might also add that I buy organic produce, which in my experience keeps fresh longer anyways. Also, I keep my fridge clean and uncluttered, with nothing packed or smashed.

I've been using these bags for years and have been sharing them with friends since it was a former co-worker years ago that first shared them with me. I won't buy produce without them! I'm convinced that they have saved me countless dollars helping to prevent my great purchases from spoiling before I can use them up. My diet consists of fresh salads, vegetables, and fruits daily so I purchase in volume to get the best prices. I still find it amazing how long my produce will last, consistently. Like many "TV advertised" products, the Debbie Meyer Green Bags are not a miracle; but the bags do help in keeping produce fresh. I haven't tried the bags with many items but for apples, lettuce and especially bananas, I am impressed.
The bags are reusable which helps make this product a 5 star product in my opinion.

I admit it! I was fooled! I read the writing on the box and believed what it said. The first things I put in the GreenBags I purchased were bananas. I wasn't sure but it seemed to me that the bananas turned brown faster than normal. Then, I purchased two bags of Dole Iceburg Butter Crunch Salad at the same time. I used half a bag and put the remaining half in a GreenBag, following directions. After about four days, I opened the GreenBag and was surprised to see a great deal of "rust" on the lettuce. I checked the unopened bag and noticed that none of the lettuce in that bag had "rust." The salad that wasn't put in the GreenBag last longer than the salad that was put in the GreenBag. Live and learn.
