Product Description Our most powerful pressure washer to date, Now with improved technology, the Earthwise PWO2200 pressure washer can reach 2000 PSI. This washer is ideal for cleaning larger surfaces including sidewalks, decks and patios. In addition with a built-in detergent tank. you simply turn on a knob to add car wash or concrete cleaner. If you do lots of cleaning, you'll love this feature.
A basic car wash with gas will run you around ten dollars. Considering that one might wash the car once a week over the coarse of a summer at ten dollars which means over the year you will pay for the pressure washer
Electric power washers require less maintenance than gas-powered models. Electric models are quieter than gas-powered washers. They need less space and no special preparation when put in storage for both short and long periods. If the need arises, electric power washers can be used indoors as they don't produce toxic fumes like gas models.

Great washer & horrible manual. July 26, 2010 Liena (South Africa) We bought the Earthwise pressure washer 2000 PSI. We read the manual and followed the very brief instructions. The connection between the washer and the garden hose leaked a lot. The pressure was bad, and we could not figure out how to get the soap out of the container and onto the house. After searching for information on the internet and trying it again, it finally worked.
Leaking at garden hose connection: just press the male/female connector in further, until you hear a second click. It is easier to connect the hose to the connector first, then the connector to the machine.
About the soap: turn the green plastic nozzle at the end of the spray gun to the low pessure spray. After you start the machine, pull this green plastic nozzle out, towards the front (away from the handle side). The copper nut will be visible now, and doesn't look like it is inside of the green plastic part. We struggled to get it out the first time. You may even need a second person to (carefully) pull on the other end. It was really stuck in there.
Just another tip, don't leave your soap in the machine overnight; it leaks out. We left it in there while we tried to figure all of this out.
The pressure was great when we tried it the second day. The key was the second click of the male/female connector.
Be careful on doors, it takes the paint off. So far no problem on the siding of our house.
Earthwise definitely needs to improve the manual.
I hope this will help.
Bottom line, after some research and effort, IT WORKS GREAT!
HORRIBLE PIECE OF JUNK !!! July 18, 2010 BUGMO35 This machine is the worst thing I have ever bought. It is very difficult to put together due to the vague directions found in the instruction manual. There were several pieces missing from the box, which customer service sent fairly quickly. The pressure hose is extremely stiff; prone to kinking and bending. It is a design nightmare. The hose burst the first time I used the machine, so the pressure washer was useless. I made another call to customer service to request a replacement hose and was told it was out of stock. It took well over a month to get a new one. The customer service agent stated that many people had experienced similar problems with the hose. Please don't buy one of these, you will regret it. However if you do make that mistake, keep the customer service phone number handy, you will need it.
Complete garbage. Cheaply made and arrived DOA July 7, 2010 Sedentary lifestyle As other buyers have said, this is poorly designed, cheaply made, and a complete crap shoot as to whether you'll receive one that works or doesn't. Instead of gambling good money on this item invest in something that has real metal fittings (not plastic couplers and connections) and has a better track record than these.
the water line is kinked every 2 feet -it did blow out on me twice used June 19, 2010 Deb A. Sturm (Pittsburgh pa) This machine is to heavy for what it has to offer - the power cord is really not long enough and the water hose is kinked every two feet due to the tubing --I do believe- It is stiff accept for the kinks, which sprouted -- 10 minutes in to use it blow out
It's not easy to fix sice the gun cord goes into the machine to remome to replace with another.. I don't see any help unless I pay someone to put it back together.. Im over amazon anything that costs more
than 20 bucks ... go to the store and evaluate them first in my opinion if you must buy --I had a gift certificate for amazon ..good luck
My Experience June 6, 2010 Matt Here is my experience with this pressure washer.
I got this for Christmas this past year from here because it has all of the specs I was looking for in a electronic pressure washer. It looks nice, has the right pressure for me, and was a reasonable price at the time. I unpacked it from the box about two months ago, connected everything, and went outside. When I turned it on it worked great for about 5 minutes and the pressure hose sprung a leak. Ok that can happen, so I called the American Lawn Mower Company, and also emailed [...] and they said that the would rush me a new hose right away. I waited about a week and a half and still no hose. I called back and they said, "sorry it is on backorder we will send you one right away when we get them in". Sure enough I waited 3 more weeks and no hose so I called again. The lady there said, "oh we just got them in and we will have one out to you by this weekend". It arrived today, so I went out to try it again, plugged the pressure washer in. Guess what...it worked...for about 5 minutes. Now the hose works, but the cheap plastic quick connect that goes to the water hose blew right out of the nozzle! Not just the quick connect part, but the part that connects to the metal sticking out of the pressure washer itself!
The reson I gave it a 3 out of 5 is becase I think the machine itself is decent, but the plastic parts SUCK! You would think when you spend $200 bucks it would come with better parts that break in a heartbeat! I am calling the company on Monday.
If anyone has any alternatives about the quick connects please let me know. I will keep you informed...stay tuned.
