4 out of 5 stars Good Value   June 29, 2010

I like this iron with a few exceptions. The temperature dial is a little hard to turn because it is smooth, and I have to set the iron on solid surface when I am using it because it does tip easily on my padded ironing board. Other than that, the iron works great. It seems to have a higher temperature than my previous Black & Decker. I like the Stainless Steel Soleplate. It glides much easier than my previous coated soleplate. This is a good iron for the price.

4 out of 5 stars Great iron; great price   June 3, 2010
Busy Mom (Columbus OH)
This inexpensive iron has worked very well and is effective with both easy care and more difficult to iron items. It is light and simple. Great value.

An iron is a pretty mundane appliance, but as far as irons go, this one will be substantially better than what you have. It simply works great.

I love this iron so much I am no longer angry with myself for dropping the previous iron. Now I'm glad I had to find a new one.

1 out of 5 stars Poor design   April 25, 2010

The temperature dial is poorly designed as noted by another reviewer. It is very difficult to turn, which would be annoying to do every use. Lucky for me, the first time I pressed the steam button it pulled the handle away from the iron. Two little screws weren't doing the job. I am sending this back and looking for a different iron.
